Two of the girls being educated in Uganda were lucky enough to return to Juba in summer 2019 to visit their family and visit their sisters at the CCC children’s centre in Juba.

Summer 2019 CCCUK again sent a teacher from the UK to help with school work. Nigel has recently retired as Head of Science from a UK school and his practical science lessons were inspiring to the girls.

During the Covid 19 pandemic schools have been drastically affected in Uganda and our children have had to spend the majority of their time at the house with little movement outside. Teachers have been brought in to teach them and keep them occupied and continue their learning.
